What is geni?
geni is an AI-powered mobile app + AI assistant built specifically to help seniors feel happy and confident in this digital age.
What can geni do?

When a senior downloads the geni mobile app from the app or play store, they will see a simple chat interface (like any messaging app), and seniors can talk to an AI friend (called genie) about various things… through which, our AI will accompany and help seniors in their daily life, such as:
set reminders - “call remind me at 7pm today to take my medication”
do daily challenges (like riddles, trivia, recount the past) - to keep mentally active!
track their steps and meals - the AI will chat with the senior and give them personalised health tips based on their physical activity and nutrition
making phone calls - using natural language, seniors can tell the AI to “Call bob”, and using their device’s phone dialer, calls can be made without frantic searching through a long and messy contacts list
navigating around - using natural language, seniors can tell the AI where they want to go and a simple UI (to reduce decision fatigue) will help them get there safely
writing their life story - through normal daily conversations, with the AI app, about their childhood, career, children, the life story of seniors will be created in beautiful, organised chapters

But… geni is also more than just a mobile app! It is also an AI assistant (e.g., like Google’s gemini assistant) that can be called upon anywhere on the senior’s phone.
For example, if the senior is on their WhatsApp app and they are not sure how to save a photo sent by their friend on WhatsApp.
Seniors can use a simple trigger (e.g., long press on their device side button), and the geni AI assistant will appear. Seniors can then ask a question to geni to get customised step-by-step instructions pointing seniors on how to do things on their phone that they previously didn’t know how to do.
